Pinot Noir Parcels

All of our Pinot Noir blocks were in excellent condition right up until the time of harvest.

Even Crop Levels

Conditions over the flowering period were stable creating nice even crop levels in the vineyards which translated into wines with great concentration and texture.

This wine shows the wonderful typicity that our Marlborough vineyards are known for.

The Pinot Noir parcel was harvested, chilled, crushed and de-stemmed directly to the press where it soaked on skins for 12 hours in a closed inert environment.

Winemaker's Notes

Pinot Noir Characters

The juice was then pressed off gently and cold settled for 72 hours. The clear juice was racked and inoculated with a selected yeast to enhance the varietal Pinot Noir characters of red fruit. Post fermentation the wine was stabilised and gently filtered prior to bottling.

Beautiful as an aperitif or with both fresh and smoked salmon dishes. Also matches well with Sushi or Sashimi.
