Pinot Gris

Pinot Gris is a mutation of the Pinot Noir grape and has greyish-blue skins. We love Pinot Gris here at Yealands and, like all aromatic varieties, it loves our cool climate growing conditions. We have a special clone of Pinot Gris planted, called Berrysmith which is known for its very small berries and thick skins, creating juice with amazing concentration. We make our Pinot Gris bursting with pear and apple aromas, with texture and weight in the palate, dry in style, balanced with subtle acidity.
