Yealands UK Summer of Sauvignon
The English Summer is here and even if it does rain (a bit!) it’s still a great time of year to get outside for a picnic.
Yealands Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect match for picnic foods such as olives, salads, chicken and shellfish, so grab a chilled bottle, pack your picnic hamper and head to your nearest green space. Read on for some ideas:
* Your local park - for example London has some amazing green spaces for a city and we’d recommend Regent’s Park, Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park and St. James’s Park for scenic city sipping!
* By or on a river - head to your local river bank or hire a boat and pack a picnic.
* On the beach - there’s nothing like heading to the beach for a picnic - don’t forget to pack a picnic blanket to keep the sand away!
* National parks - we have an abundance of beautiful national parks in the UK, many with some stunning picnic spots.
* The glorious British Countryside - the flowers are in bloom and the birds are singing so get out into the countryside this summer - the National Trust has a great selection of places here.
