Yealands Reserve Top Scoring Sauvignon Blanc at International Wine & Spirits Competition.

The 2023 International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) results have been revealed, with Yealands Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2022 earning 97 points - the highest scoring still dry wine in the competition. The 2023 IWSC awards were the biggest to date, with over 100 international judges tasting wines from around the world over ten days in London. Yealands Wines also received three Silver medals and seven Bronze medals.

Judges were impressed by the Reserve's “intensity and zingy acidity”, noting that this wine was “the benchmark, with impressive length and purity on the finish.” The Judging Committee will now re-taste each gold-winning wine to select the best bottles across a range of categories, with the trophy winners to be announced in August.
