Back in 2002, when Peter Yealands was first hard at work sculpting the land, every instinct told him that Seaview was a special place. A stunning starting point. He was right. Even as Yealands Family Wines was emerging onto the world stage on 08.08.08, it soon became clear that the future would be very bright. Now, with a collection of 29 trophies and 1,600+ awards since our launch, international recognition continues to flow for a truly talented team bound by a shared passion for beautifully crafted wine sustainably produced.

Our winemaking philosophy at Yealands is to let the wines express their sense of place. This means minimal intervention and adjustments to the natural balance of the fruit that we receive each harvest. Luckily, out at our Seaview Vineyard we are blessed with fruit that has been expertly managed in the vineyard and comes from an exceptional site. Due to this, the fruit invariably comes into the winery full of flavour and with great potential for structure and balance.
