Once again, Yealands is brighter, crispier and more citrus than its rivals. I'm not a fan of bubble bath and fruit salad sauvignon, so this leaner, meaner model really appeals to me.
Shows ripe notes of passionfruit and guava, underpinned with aromas of fresh herbs and blackcurrant.
The palate is brimming with zingy fruit that is balanced with a long, crisp mineral finish.
Carefully selected parcels of Sauvignon Blanc from our Seaview Vineyard in the Awatere Valley were used to craft this wine.
Consistently warm and dry, with cool nights creating a long growing season and allowing optimum ripeness.
An approachable Sauvignon Blanc- highly aromatic and vibrant on the palate. A real crowd pleaser.
The parcels were harvested individually over a two week period. At the winery, the fruit was crushed, destemmed and gently pressed. The juice was cold settled for 72 hours, after which the clear juice was racked off, followed by a long cool fermentation in stainless Steel to capture and enhance the fruit flavours.
Each of the individual parcels were fermented separately using a range of selected yeasts, after which the wine was blended, stabilised and filtered in preparation for bottling.
The Sauvignon Blanc from this vintage is showing the wonderful typicity that our Seaview Vineyard is known for.
Our multi-award-winning Sauvignon is fantastic on its own as well as with all types of seafood.
Excellent with both fresh and cooked seafood dishes such as oysters, prawns, green lip mussels and fish.
This Sauvignon Blanc shows the wonderful typicity that our Seaview Vineyard is known for highly aromatic fruit flavours of blackcurrant leaf and citrus blossom.

Whiffs of smoke and honeysuckle add an aromatic accent to the core of peach, pear and mango flavors in this white, which is juicy on the long, crisp, clean finish. Drink now. 277,777 cases made.
Beautifully fruited and lifted, the bouquet shows passionfruit, nectarine, green apple and lime zest characters, leading to a mouth-watering palate that is filled with tasty fruit flavours, backed by juicy acidity. The wine is up front and expressive, and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2019.
Founder Peter Yealands and winemaker Tamra Kelly-Washington are producing some cracking wines at their estate in the Awatere Valley region of Marlborough in New Zealand, the first in the world to get a carbon zero certificate. Oodles of gooseberry and guava here are balanced by a crisp acidity and a mineral finish. In store only.
Lovely pungent tropical aromas leap from the glass. The palate offers perfect balance between the sweetness and the intense passionfruit flavours.
Pale green straw. Perfume of guavas. On the palate, green guavas and passionfruit with a citrusy/spring onion aspect. Fruity, crisp and refreshing. Classic, quintessential Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Great as an aperitif and to pair with deep-fried and finger foods.
A wonderfully fresh and concentrated glass with lovely tree/citrus fruit aromas and flavours. Pure with a good texture and impressive length. This has personality and tension, and it curls on and out through the finish.
