Yealands Marlborough Sustainability Initiative

Yealands Wines, in conjunction with the Marlborough District Council and the Blenheim Sun, has proudly supported not-for-profit efforts to enhance biodiversity across Marlborough through the Yealands Wines Marlborough Sustainability Initiative.

Since 2020, the Yealands Marlborough Sustainability Initiative has provided groups with funding to support weed eradication, waterway enhancement, wetland preservation, education and wildlife breeding programmes.

What is on offer?

In previous years, the Yealands Wines Marlborough Sustainability Initiative made available $50,000 annually for local environmental projects, with individual grants of up to $10,000 per year.

2025 Update

We have yet to confirm whether the Initiative will run again this year. We understand the value this programme brings to the community and will share any updates here as soon as they become available.

Who can apply?

The Initiative specifically supports not-for-profit community efforts to improve biodiversity across the Marlborough district. Please see the full terms and conditions here to see whether your project might be eligible.
