Christmas Wreathmaking
There are lots of materials you can use for making wreaths: reusable cooper rings, vines or even long grasses twisted and bound to make a circle. The technique is also actually a simple one, once you have added your base layer of moss or grasses, use your wire to bind each piece of botanical material to the wreath frame.

Festive Table Setting
Wondering how to add a little more to your festive table this year? A few simple ideas can make your table beautiful.
Ideas include supporting local makers like those close to our winery in Marlborough; we think sustainability is beyond the environment and is about supporting your own micro economy, whether you’re buying from an artisan breadmaker, a potter or florist who’s local to you.
Gather from your Garden
There’s nothing lovelier than bringing nature into your home. You can do this by gathering from your garden or sourcing local blooms and plants from your local florist and plant shops.
Learn about how best to cut from the garden from our guide below.
Festive Sips
Need some inspiration on which varietals to serve this Christmas? Yealands Chief Winemaker Natalie has picked some of her festive favourites.
Yealands Estate Single Block S1 Sauvignon Blanc:
If seafood is on the menu, go for an expressive Sauv like this.
Yealands Reserve Rosé:
This delicate Rosé pairs perfectly with soft cheeses & strawberry desserts.
Yealands Estate Single Vineyard Albariño:
If you’re serving fish or salmon for the main course,
give this Spanish varietal a go.
Yealands Estate Single Vineyard Pinot Noir:
If it’s Roast lamb for Christmas lunch,
then you can’t go past this trophy-winning pinot.
