Winemaker's notes
Yealands Reserve Pinot Gris is brimming with concentrated notes of ripe pear and honeysuckle, with underlying spicy flavours. The palate is luscious and generous showing wonderful balance between fruit and acidity with a long dry finish.
With bees buzzing and butterflies flourishing in the vines, our coastal home produces wines bursting with flavour. Beautifully biodiverse. An abundance of flavour.

Seaview
Our Seaview Vineyard in the Awatere Valley is exposed to some of the toughest growing conditions in Marlborough; high sunshine and wind, cool nights and low rainfall which produces a smaller, thicker skinned berry with intense fruit flavours. This wine is a blend of two different blocks on the property – one warmer, sheltered inland block and a coastal block. The wine brings together in harmony the diverse spectrums of the blocks; the warmer site contributing he expressive aromatics and the cooler site giving the mineral backbone and length.

At Yealands, we aim to leave the land better than we found it. We achieve this through a wide range of initiatives and on-going projects including developing wetlands, making our own special compost and using natural pest control measures in our vineyard.
