Caretakers for the Land

Sustainability

Caring for the environment comes in many forms. Cutting-back on the harmful greenhouse gases caused by carbon emissions, looking after the resources that we already have and constantly finding innovative ways to generate renewable energy. Find out more about our sustainable initiatives here.

Music to the Vines

Listen

All of our vines grow up listening to classical music. Studies have shown that the vibrations and the soundwaves can help stimulate growth.  Download our Spotify Playlist to enjoy the very same music our vines enjoyed, as you sip the wine that the music helped create.

Our vision is to create the world’s most environmentally-friendly wines. We're always looking for new ways to work, combining our love of the land with bold, approachable wines that prove sustainability always rewards with lasting quality.

Tasting Notes

Light & Pure

We use a number of techniques to produce intensely flavoured, lighter in alcohol wines. This includes canopy and crop manipulation in the vineyard, adjustment of picking dates and selective blending compositions in the winery.

Enjoy With

Our lighter in alcohol wines are excellent with salads, chicken and seafood.

Our constant search for new innovations has led to this full-flavoured, lighter in alcohol wine.

Estate-grown in the Wairau Valley, the 2013 is a very attractive, low-alcohol style (9 per cent). Fresh and fruity, it is very pure and 'correct', with very satisfying depth of ripe-fruit aromas and flavours.
